"In my role as Activities Team Leader I ensure that all our guests, young and old, are delivered an exciting array of activities to enhance their stay with us. Activities include craft, cooking, excursions, fitness classes and family friendly games. The role allows me to interact with guests and form genuine friendships with holidaymakers.

During my 9 years here, I have been promoted into different roles and given opportunities for personal growth. West Beach Parks is a great place to work! I have made amazing friends, I enjoy coming to work every day and the satisfaction I feel when I see the smiles on guests faces." 

Delaney — Customer Experience

"My role as a Senior Customer Experience Officer is to provide an excellent guest experience and ensure the Customer Experience Team also consistently deliver high standards of customer service. I am responsible for overseeing all accommodation reception tasks as well as supervising and coaching the Team. The thing I enjoy most about my role is the daily interaction with different people and having the ability to personalise the holiday experience of guests. I like a good challenge and I thrive in problem solving situations."

Krishna — ICT

"My role as ICT System Administrator is to monitor and maintain systems, servers, network and assist team members with technical issues. I play an important role as I ensure operational continuity by maintaining IT infrastructure, protecting data and systems, and resolving technical issues quickly to minimise downtime and allow team members to focus on their work. One thing I think everyone should know about working here is that West Beach Parks provides a family friendly working environment through flexible working conditions."

Ben — Golf

"As a Greenkeeper at West Beach Parks my day starts before the sun rises and is spent maintaining both golf courses to a high standard. Whether it’s mowing the greens, laying turf or changing the holes, almost the entirety of my day is spent outside. From my first day at West Beach Parks the team have been friendly and welcoming. While it can be a bit daunting starting a new job, having a team that I can lean on and learn from really has made a difference."

Nathan — Golf Park

“In my role as Golf Pro Shop Manager my day is spent making sure our golfers enjoy their experience whilst utilising our fantastic golf facilities. I achieve this by providing leadership to the Golf Customer Experience Team and overseeing the day-to-day operations from coordinating tee times, hiring out golf carts, refilling the balls for the driving range and ensuring the drinks cart refuels our thirsty and hungry golfers.

What I enjoy most about my role is the diversity – no day is the same. One thing that remains a constant though is ensuring golfers experience awesome service and enjoy our fantastic facilities each and every visit. This is the most satisfying and it is also a pretty great office to work from!”

Simon — Grounds

"As the Grounds Team Leader my days are spent working alongside the Grounds Team providing motivation and training which results in clean green outdoor areas for guests on holidays or visitors using our sporting fields. The thing I enjoy most about my role is providing a work environment where the Grounds Team are happy to come to work and leave just as happy knowing that their daily contributions help to maintain our grounds for guests and visitors to enjoy every time they visit us."

James — Housekeeping

“In my role as a Housekeeper my day is spent attending to all of our cabins and shacks and ensuring that they are cleaned to a very high standard, with consideration to hygiene, safety and guest needs. I enjoy supporting my fellow team members and helping guests with a smile on my face. One thing everyone should know about working at West Beach Parks is how supportive and inclusive all team members are of people with disability. It is a positive work environment where you feel you belong and included.”

Jason — Maintenance

"In my role as a Maintenance Team Member, I play an important role in providing quick and proficient solutions to issues that arise. Unfortunately inconveniences occur and addressing them promptly is crucial. No day is the same and you could find me fixing appliances, painting, plastering, plumbing or undertaking a multitude of any other general maintenance activities. One of the things I enjoy most about my role is ensuring our guests are enjoying themselves – as they should be. There isn’t anything much more satisfying than bringing a smile to someone’s face while they’re on holiday."

Sarah — Groups

"As the Groups Sales and Events Coordinator my role is to liaise with clients to arrange their group accommodation needs and/or hire our conference room for corporate meetings and events. My day is spent planning with clients, providing quotes and meeting groups when they arrive to ensure they receive everything they need to make their stay run smoothly and most importantly, enjoyable.

What I love most about my role is that I am not confined to a desk, and I can meet a client that has never stayed with us before at one of our accommodation properties, introduce them to West Beach Parks and present all the fantastic facilities we have to offer. Being able to deliver an exceptional experience and receiving thanks from clients makes my job that much more rewarding."
