Here are the stories of our longest serving team members
Brenda Ryan
I am the Work Health and Safety/Return to Work Coordinator and have been with West Beach Parks for 37 years. I initially started at Reception, then filled in as the Payroll Officer and also in Accounts. The things I have loved most working for West Beach Parks are the friendly, caring and supportive team, the beautiful large open workplaces, workplace flexibility and the interesting and diverse roles which are offered. Something fun people might not know about working here is the number of team events we have where we all get together and catch up.
Mario Decristofaro
I have been with West Beach Parks for 36 years and always worked outdoor. I am currently a Greenkeeper but have also been a Grounds Team Member, and I did a short stint many years ago in the Maintenance Team. What I have loved most about working for West Beach Parks is being part of the journey and watching the precinct grow and evolve over the years.
Mark Davis
For my first 25 years at West Beach Parks I worked as a Grounds Team Member in the caravan park (now known as the Holiday Park). Over the last 10 years I have still been part of the Grounds Team working on our reserves. What I have loved most about working for West Beach Parks is the outdoor environment and being able to breathe in the fresh sea air every day. Also all the people that l have had the privilege to meet from interstate and overseas, some of which have become good friends. People might be surprised to know that West Beach Parks is home to the Adelaide Giants baseball team who have won the Australian Baseball League Championship – the Claxton Shield – the last 2 years in a row after last winning it over 40 years ago!
Paula Croci
During my 29 years of service I have worked as part of the Housekeeping Team as I love being active and having the opportunity to work both inside cabins and outdoors. The Housekeeping Team are also a great crew to work with!
